Department for Recruiting Foreign Teachers
JESIE was granted the license to provide agency services for recruiting foreign teachers by SAFEA (the State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs) in 2002. As the only agency for recruiting foreign teachers in the Jiangsu Education System, the recruiting department has recommended more than 1,000 teachers, both long-term and short-term, to primary, secondary and high schools, and also colleges in Jiangsu Province.
Program Introduction:
1. Agency services: Recruit long-term foreign teachers to bolster the schools in Jiangsu and assist the teachers with the preparation of the relevant documents for foreign teachers’ visas, foreign expert certificates, residence permits etc.
2. Policy consultation: Provide policy-consulting service for Jiangsu schools concerning the recruitment and management of foreign teachers.
3. Teachers Training: Recruit foreign experts each summer for the Chinese English Teachers Training Program for the Teachers Training Division of JPDE (Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education)
